To facilitate navigation on the website (hereinafter, “website”), Tlantic Portugal – Sistemas de Informação, S.A. with NIPC 508313864 and head office at Rua Manuel Pinto de Azevedo, nº 626 – 1º Piso, 4100-320 Porto (hereinafter, “TLANTIC”), as the owner of the same, informs that it uses cookies or other data storage and retrieval devices with similar functionality (hereinafter, “cookies”).

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded onto the user’s device when they visit a website and which make it possible to identify the accessing device, as well as the pages and elements accessed, in order to provide a better browsing experience.

Cookies are essential for the functioning of the Internet, since they offer technical solutions that allow the user to navigate through the different websites; they cannot damage the user’s equipment/device and can be used to identify and resolve possible errors in the functioning of the Platform. TLANTIC does not need the user’s consent to install these cookies on their device, and their use is based on the need to provide the services requested by users. The user may configure their browser to disable or block all cookies, but some of the utilities available on the Website will not work.

These cookies make it possible to remember the user’s preferences regarding the use of the website, so that it is not necessary to reconfigure the site each time they visit it, and to personalize each user’s browsing experience, such as by setting the language preference, geographical location or font size displayed.   3. Move the bar to the top, where “Block all cookies” will.

Cookie settings in Chrome – Disable cookies

  1. Click on the Chrome menu in the browser toolbar.

  2. Select “Settings”.
  3. In the “Privacy and security” section, click on “Cookies and other site data”;
  4. Select one of the options “Block all cookies”, “Block third-party cookies” or “Block third-party cookies in Incognito Browsing”.

The user can change the following cookie settings in the “Cookies” section:

  • Delete cookies
  • Block cookies by setting 
  • Allow cookies by default
  • Keep cookies and website data by setting until you exit the browser
  • Create exceptions for cookies from specific websites or domains

Cookie Settings in Mozilla Firefox – Disabling cookiess

  1. Click on the “Tools” menu;
  2. Select “Options”;
  3. Click on the “Privacy” icon in the top panel;

  4. In the “Cookies” section, deactivate the “Accept cookies from websites” option;

  5. Click “OK” to save the changes and close.

Cookie Settings in Safari Web and iOS – Disable cookies

  1. Click in “Edit”;
  2. Select “Preferences”;
  3. In the top panel, select the “Privacy” icon;

  4. In the “Accept Cookies” section, select “Never”.

Other browsers

If you use a browser other than those mentioned, look in the “help” menu of your internet browser for the function to delete cookie data.
