This Privacy Policy regulates the processing of personal data of users (hereinafter, “User” or “Users”), collected in connection with the use of this website (hereinafter, ‘website’), by Tlantic Portugal – Sistemas de Informação, S.A., (hereinafter, “TLANTIC”) as the owner of the same.
The provision of personal data implies knowledge and acceptance of the website’s Terms and Conditions of Use.
The Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the processing of personal data carried out by TLANTIC in the context of the purposes set out herein, in which personal information is considered to relate to an identified or identifiable natural person of any nature and regardless of its medium.
We ensure compliance with the obligations arising from Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter “GDPR”), Law No. 58/2019 of August 8 and other legislation on the protection of personal data and privacy.

Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person that TLANTIC processes as part of its business activity.
The representative or contact person in the company and/or its employee, in the case of legal persons, who in the context of the execution of a contract or pre-contractual diligence, or in the context of any other contact in the business sphere, establishes relations with TLANTIC.
The candidate, a natural person, who wishes to send a job application to TLANTIC in the “Careers” section.
TLANTIC may collect the following personal data through the website:
a) Identification information: name, address, city;
b) Contact information: e-mail, telephone, position within the company;
c) Curricular information: academic qualifications and other information contained in the curriculum vitae.
Your personal data may be collected in the following circumstances and for the following purposes through the website:
i) When you contact us to request information about our products and services;
ii) When you send us your CV spontaneously and/or apply for a specific job vacancy published in the “Careers” section;
iii) When you subscribe to our newsletter.
The grounds on which TLANTIC processes your personal data are as follows:
Pre-contractual procedures and/or execution of a contract: your personal data may be necessary for the clarification of doubts, for the conclusion, execution and management of the contract to be concluded with TLANTIC. Example: when you contact us to request information and/or send us your CV.
Compliance with a legal obligation: your data may be necessary for the fulfillment of a legal obligation to which the controller, in this case TLANTIC, is subject. Example: communication of information to a public entity/authority.
Legitimate interest: your data may be necessary to carry out certain tasks related to TLANTIC’s business activity, except in cases where your privacy and data protection rights must prevail. Example: statistics and/or analysis of website browsing data using cookies.
Consent: your personal data may be processed by means of a free, specific, informed and explicit expression of will, under which you accept, by means of a declaration or an unequivocal positive act, that your personal data will be processed. Example: if you subscribe to our newsletter and/or when you accept the presence of certain cookies.
TLANTIC will only keep your personal data for the period strictly necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, namely within the scope of legal obligations to which it is bound or during the period in which the legal person it represents or works for establishes a contractual relationship with TLANTIC or during the period in which pre-contractual steps are taken. We may keep your personal data for longer periods, based on your consent or in situations where there is a legitimate interest of TLANTIC, always respecting the period necessary to pursue the purpose for which they were collected. In the absence of a specific legal obligation, your data will only be processed for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and for as long as there are legitimate grounds for TLANTIC to retain it.
Your personal data, when processed for the purposes of job applications, will be kept for a maximum period of 12 months from the collection of your consent and if, within this period, you have not withdrawn your consent.
Once the maximum legal retention period has been reached, personal data will be irreversibly anonymized (anonymized data may be retained) or securely destroyed.
TLANTIC transmits your personal data only when necessary for the purposes described above.
TLANTIC’s suppliers and service providers are contractually subject to the same terms and conditions for the processing of personal data established in this privacy policy, and are prohibited from using, transferring, disclosing or recording the personal data of the data subject for any purpose other than that for which they were specifically contracted.
TLANTIC may transmit your personal data, depending on the purpose for which it was collected, to different recipients, and only the data necessary for the development of the activity pursued by these entities within the scope of the purposes identified in this Privacy Policy will be transmitted. You may exercise your rights free of charge, unless the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, in which case a reasonable fee may be charged taking into account the costs.
We will respond to your requests within a maximum of 30 days, except in the case of more complex requests.
